October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month, and today we are excited to share a success story from our Career Specific Vocational Training program. Nicole excelled throughout her classes, and was awarded with her certificate of completion in August with a proficiency in Customer Service and Food Preparation. Today Nicole is thriving in her new training and credits her success to her CSVT classes: "I learned how to provide services in a kitchen, knife skills and food temperatures. I enjoyed learning about everything...especially working at the zoo. I'm cooking more, I know what temperatures food should be and I'm becoming more independent!"
