This past Friday, City Point and Brooklyn celebrated the highly anticipated opening of the Brooklyn Made Store with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in the morning, followed by a “GO Party” later in the evening to honor the local Brooklyn artisans who made everything possible. Our 2024 Intern class took part in the New York Nareit Conference to kick off REITweek and gain a better understanding of the industry with nearly 100 REIT management teams presenting throughout the conference, including our own Ken Bernstein. Hear more about it below with remarks from one of our returning interns. “Having the opportunity to return for a second year to experience NAREIT has given me the ability to better understand the multifaceted elements that go into building a successful REIT. Whether it was discussing how real estate will adapt alongside an omni-channel world or learning how different REITs are each individually unique in such a saturated market, I truly feel as though I have been able to immerse myself in the industry and further my knowledge as a curious intern.
