𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 — I am most grateful for the opportunity to represent AAPL as your secretary for the coming year and serving with President Nancy McCaskell and the outstanding members of the Executive Committee. The needs of our membership are of the utmost importance to me, and I appreciate your trust and confidence.
I look to those who came before me and endeavor to continue in their path of serving our members diligently and honestly to further AAPL’s mission, goals and values. As our industry has evolved exponentially, so have the duties and responsibilities of a landman. AAPL’s education and certification programs are key components of the association, and member participation in these programs sends a message to our peers and the industry that we are committed to our craft and to high standards of professionalism. Together we can advance the success of our association through a culture of teamwork and excellence that will sustain our profession and industry for those who follow in our footsteps.
To all who have supported and encouraged me, thank you for reminding me that the difference between the impossible and the possible lies only in one’s determination.
