We were honored to host international human rights activist and author Pashtana D. at our May social last week. Pashtana, author of "Last to Eat, Last to Learn: My Life in Afghanistan Fighting to Educate Women" and Executive Director of LEARN Afghanistan, shared her inspiring journey and invaluable insights on the fight for women's education in Afghanistan. The event was expertly moderated by Camille Mackler, Founder and Executive Director of Immigrant ARC and 2024 92NY Women inPower fellow. Camille's dedication to immigrant rights and her impactful work added significant depth and perspective to the conversation. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn from these incredible leaders and advocates. Their stories remind us of the power of resilience and the importance of fighting for justice and equality. #HumanRights #WomensEducation #ImmigrantRights #Leadership #Inspiration For more about Immigrant ARC, visit (https://lnkd.in/ezbPSqwS).
