81 Unit focuses on building and supplying cutting-edge technologies to the Military Intelligence Directorate. There are more than 7,500 members of the 81 Alumni Association. This association operates the top startup program - Scola, as well as unique tech communities and volunteer activities within the Israeli startup and development ecosystem. Through its vast alumni network, the Alumni Association mentors and supports University graduates from underprivileged backgrounds and young children in learning STEM. The Alumni organization supports many activities for its members, including professionals and entrepreneurs from tech and science. Activities related to professional development, career advancement, and networking.

בחודש שעבר קיימנו עוד אירוע פיזי מוצלח של קהילת עמי"טה, קהילת בוגרות היחידה. הקהילה היא אחת ממספר תתי-קהילות תחת העמותה. הקהילה מתמקדת בפיתוח אישי והענקת מיומנויות ליבה (power skills) לחברות בה, נטוורקינג וקשרים ככלי לצמיחה, וכן חיבור למטרות החברתיות של העמותה. במסגרת זו, מנהלות הקהילה (תיוגים) משקיעות בבניית גאנט תכנים ואירועים איכותיים ומקצועיים. בין היתר, אירועי השנה החולפת עסקו במיתוג אישי, השכלה פיננסית, שימוש בלינקדאין ועוד. האירוע האחרון גם הוא חלק מתכנית זו, ובמסגרתו עברנו סדנת אפקטיביות ממוקדת ופרקטית. את הסדנה "להיות אפקטיבי.ת - ולהנות מהדרך" העבירה לנו בהתנדבות דר, ממנהלות הקהילה. מדובר בסדנה מקצועית מאוד, אותה דר מעבירה לארגונים וקהילות במסגרת העסק שלה לקידום א.נשים להגשמת מטרות. הייתה סדנה מעולה ומאוד מעשית. למדנו מה זו בכלל אפקטיביות, הבנו איך לנהל את עצמנו ואת המשאבים שלנו טוב יותר, איך לשפר את האפקטיביות שלנו ותירגלנו כלים פרקטיים שיכולים לשמש אותנו ביומיום ובשגרה (גם בחיים המקצועיים וגם בחיים האישיים).
