"We've been wanting to use the 360 degree camera on a project for some time. For this client, we designed a concept that told a story of abandoned scooters, from the scooter's perspective. With excitement and approval from the client, we put the POV camera angle from a 360 degree camera on the scooter. Casting Call! We're looking for African American women to share their stories in a campaign that aims to bring awareness to cervical cancer and reduce cervical cancer disparities among African American women. While screening could eliminate most new cases, there are many reasons why women are hesitant to get screened. We’re looking for women to share their stories about the barriers that may prevent them from getting screened, such as dealing with providers, things they may have heard, feeling at low risk for cervical cancer, other priorities, or life realities such as the costs, transportation or your job. If you're interested you can email [email protected] or send us a quick video submission (1 minute or less) that briefly describes your barriers to getting screened (either in the past or presently). From there, selected participants will be asked to conduct a 30-minute remote interview to share your story. Those selected for that interview will receive a $150 stipend.
