🚜 We had an electrifying day at Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria, showcasing the future of agriculture! 🌱 Partnering with the Santa Barbara County Air Pollution Control District, we gave the community a hands-on experience with cutting-edge electric Ag equipment. Attendees got behind the wheel of a Monarch MK-V Tractor, an Orbital Rev 1 UTV, an electric excavator, a UTV from Berchtold Equipment, and even a forklift and dumpster from Central California Power. These innovative vehicles are not only powerful—they're eligible for funding through the APCD’s Clean Air Grant, the Landscape Electrification Fund, and 3CE’s Ag Electrification Program. 🔋 Our team had the pleasure of attending the Regional Energy Advisor Strategy Workshop in Santa Barbara recently! Hosted by the Community Environmental Council, this workshop brought together load serving entities, rebate providers, and community-based organizations like 3CREN, SLO Climate Coalition, and Clean Power Alliance. It was a fantastic opportunity to collaborate, share insights, and strategize on how we can continue to serve our communities with clean, affordable energy solutions.
