Yesterday when I was at church someone gave our pastor Bill a toy fishing game. He explained that he had a fishing accident and this gift was meant for him to fish safetly. Bill is over 80 years old and loves to trout fish. He was fishing on the Tye river when he lost his balance and fell into the icy cold river. Bill lost his pole, walking cane, and landed face down in the river. That's when he said to himself "Bill, now there is no one is here to help you and your the only one that can get you out so get too it!". Then he crawled out of the river and went home. When your the founder of a business, you tend to fall in that river many times and some people wait for someone to pull them out. But for me, no one came. Since those times, I have learned that I am the only one that can save myself. So if you're in that river get the hell up and get out because no one is coming to save you!!! Merry Christmas!

I walked by this old home place and there's not much left but it makes me smile every time. The Gentlemen that was born and raised here was one of the people that told me how they raised a big garden that fed their family. That was long before chemical fertilizer and sprays. He said they never went hungry in this small cabin feeding a bunch of children and the parents and had enough to help other families too! This is important to me, he was in his late 80s in 2004 and lived to be 98 and from his stories and my grandfather's stories and many other people I discovered how to grow and invented the Agria growing technology!!! Oh and in 2007 shattered the VA state record with a 1138 lb pumpkin!!!
