I think that one important challenge in implementing digitisation is the fear some stakeholders or employees might have, the fear of losing power. For example, when introducing a CRM within an organisation, employees working in sales will resist this change because without the CRM, they have all the data but after implementing a CRM system, many in the company will have access to this data. Therefore, and in order to increase the acceptance of digital transfotmation, its benefits should be explained, definitely, not only for the organisation but for the different employees at different levels.

Host structured discussions or workshops where stakeholders with conflicting views can openly express their perspectives. Seek areas of agreement and shared priorities among stakeholders. Address any knowledge gaps or misunderstandings by providing relevant information, case studies, or expert insights that illustrate the potential benefits of the proposed digital integration. If necessary, explore options for compromise or hybrid solutions that incorporate elements from different viewpoints. Once consensus is reached, develop a unified roadmap or action plan that outlines specific steps, timelines, responsibilities, and milestones for achieving the digital integration goals.
