Usage of packages like spring security, using API gateway, hashes where needed, encryption and decryption of keys, usage of vaults are some places which really push our code to reach the realm of security.

DevSecOps is the best way. Usage of one stage just for security in pipeline really pushes the code to whole new level of security. IaC also pushes the usage of K8S and other deployments. Snyk and sonarqube while deployment and sonarlint during development helps.
