Less is more! Only use what you need! In my experience, I've tried providing full production. But it simply just becomes too much. A desk becomes easily cluttered and clutter can cause distractions and stress. For example, I downsides my 49 key midi station to a 25 key so I could fit a large mixer on my desk with my computer.
