Firstly, consider the emotions of employees from the acquired or merged organization. Making them feel comfortable and integrated is like ensuring the puzzle pieces interlock smoothly. Next, aligning systems and processes is like arranging the puzzle pieces so they fit perfectly. When everything lines up, it's easier for the whole picture to come together. Lastly, while increased valuation matters, don't forget the broader picture - delivering value to the customers. It's like completing the entire puzzle and creating something meaningful. Given how pervasive culture and values are throughout organizational believes and processes, it will be beneficial to wrap a solid framework around these “soft” items that link them to “hard” indicators in the workflow. For example , if inclusion is an important value , then link that to career development process that help ensure a diverse representation of employees are considered for high profile positions.
