A higher salary now is sexy, but in the next 5 years, it's meaningless. If you develop your skills and experience, your salary will shoot up. And if the company pays for it? 🎯 You can go to more expensive trainings, and it's still a win-win. And the BEST PART: The more training you get, the more leverage you have to get faster raises and promotions.

Early in my career, I took an opportunity that looks amazing on the surface. Great title, bigger salary, exciting new company. Once the shine dulled a bit, I realized I'd made a terrible mistake.
