Learn to read people. There is an interesting phenomenon with people that emotional state and facial expressions are interrelated. When a facial response occurs it directly correlates to emotional response. These facial and muscles movements to what emotional response have been studied and can be learned. Where this is helpful is, especially for those people who may not have a strong empathic skill set, means that this can be learned. By having one on one interactions it is possible for employers to get a direct sense of the engagement of stakeholders and employees in the moment. More importantly it can help give you an idea when attention is needed.

Business analysts interface between the development team, management and the client. Business analysts goals to be clearly defined and tracked. Their involvement in all the relevant discussions and decisions have to be ensured. Their feedback on project progress at all level has to be recorded. Their sign-off on the delivery has to be ensured.
