It is very important to foster and inculcate a spirit of collaboration within the team to learn from each other. In my experience as a practitioner in the AI ML space, I can attest to the fact that one needs to be a thinking, writing, talking, validating and motivated individual to keep the lights on for learning. Given the depth/breadth of the subject that Machine learning is, there are facets of understanding about the concepts related to various topics that when discussed with others helps elicit different perspectives which can help bridge the gaps in understanding because as an individual you can do only so much within the limited time, but working in a collaborative way can help you to enrich your knowledge with multiple perspectives.
