Design patterns are solutions to common problems. Understanding them will help you in the design of software solutions but also understand when we have to deviate from them and why you are doing it. Often developers use software design principles and design patterns as a dogma that shouldn't be challenged. The context where someone operates has an important weight to take the right design decisions, if we try blindly to apply patterns without understanding our environment we risk to design a solution that doesn't fit inside our organization. Start from your business requirements, understand your environment and finally use architecture to enable your teams to build the right solution

Design patterns are already time-tested solutions, there is no chance of having re-architected the design patterns, so if we choose any design pattern it must be validated with the domain, and how much it is suitable for the domain where it should be implemented. We may have various tools to validate the design pattern. The most important thing is to communicate with domain experts. We may have a meeting schedule, or we can create an agile board. The issues and complications must be addressed, to do that we must communicate with the domain expert, we can show some POC, Design items, and diagrams, and we may arrange some workshops to get the issue resolved. Also, we need to listen to the expert for any suggestions, opinions, or questions.

More than starting from design patterns, let's start from what our users/customers want and walk backwards towards what to build. Design patterns will come but first we need to have clarity about what we have to translate into code. Techniques like Event Storming helps to bring multiple disciplines in the same room and discuss openly between business experts and developers to align the understanding of a systems (or part of it). After the Event Storming workshop we can start looking into the architecture characteristics to express based on the guardrails defined at the organization level. Finally we can look into the technical implementation and the tools needed to express our findings in the previous steps.

This misses the point of design patterns. They have a much broader application than DDD; many of them get applied at low levels of detail and act generally as ways of (1) communicating intent with other developers (who should share the pattern language whether they use DDD or not) and (2) idiomatically performing operations which benefit from decoupling interface and implementation (or other aims, though that decoupling lies behind the bulk of the GoF patterns). "Design" means two different things in "Domain-Driven Design" and "Design Patterns". The former refers to overall program structure and using a general object model which corresponds to the business domain. Evans' classic book is extremely clear about this. The Design Patterns use of "design" is derived from architectural use of specific combinations of elements in many diverse contexts. It's about using idioms at an implementation level which are commonly understood and are settled art in terms of implementation. in the GoF patterns, these idioms enable decoupling of interface from implementation, but many patterns in the Pattern Languages of Program Design series have other aims. From this perspective, this whole topic is misconceived.

Some are in rush for starting to implement as soon as possible. It can be turn us to implement before we got enough knowledge about our domains as well as start before turn the light on some dark side of problems. So we eventually will see misuse of design patterns, need in patching solutions and even structure which made system cannot describe domain expertise in code. I suggest to think to problem in abstraction and philosophy of domain as we can before start
