4 Improve the process

Generate, evaluate, and select the best ideas for improvement based on data, your criteria, and stakeholder input. Plan, test, and execute the changes with a structured approach to minimize risks and ensure sustainability. Brainstorming can help generate diverse ideas from different perspectives. A solution selection matrix can compare and rank ideas based on feasibility, impact, cost, and alignment with objectives. Pilot tests experiment with proposed changes on a small scale before implementation. And change management prepares, communicates, and supports stakeholders affected by or involved in the change.

5 Control the results

Control the results by monitoring and evaluating the performance of the improved process and ensuring employees maintain and improve the benefits over time. Analyze data to determine whether the changes have met or exceeded project goals. And implement control mechanisms to prevent or detect any problems in the future.
