This can involve using feedback mechanisms, such as evaluation, monitoring, and reporting, to assess the outcomes and impacts of economic policies and adjust them accordingly; fostering a culture of experimentation, creativity, and risk-taking, such as by encouraging pilot projects, innovation labs, and social entrepreneurship; and embracing uncertainty and diversity, such as by being flexible, resilient, and inclusive.

The sixth step is to engage and empower stakeholders, such as civil society, business, and academia, in the design and implementation of economic policies for sustainability. This can involve creating platforms and channels for dialogue, consultation, and participation, such as public hearings, surveys, and online forums; building partnerships and networks for collaboration, co-creation, and co-delivery, such as coalitions, alliances, and communities of practice; and strengthening the capacity and voice of stakeholders, such as by providing information, education, and advocacy.
