It is important to have an incident response plan ready. Your team should be trained on how to respond in a breach situation. The rest is identification of the breach and containing the affected systems. Then investigating the breach to assess the impact and plan the recovery. We need to ensure to communicate about the incident, and its impact with stakeholders. As part of the recovery we need to ensure we prevent future breaches.
