Know your customer is the key in developing the priority list for your stakeholders. once you know them you know where to place them in project life cycle. every group has its own set of interests and a certain percentage of contribution. Enlist your stakeholder on the basis of anticipated contribution and connectivity with other stakeholders. place them in order and ENJOY. Understand the Objective before setting the priorities. In addition, One thing I have found useful, is to have indicative timelines of the project plans and also analyzing the roles and time required from each stakeholder at different stages in project journey. Secondly, it is also important to understand and ensure that different teams in the project do not have conflicting priorities during project timelines eg. a team may be extensively involved in budget or marketing event or a peak period for them. If they do have a conflicting priority, it is important to align and agree for time required on the project at hand.

This article is very basic stakeholder management and not specific to the nature of the project stated. My advice would be to go to pretty much any of the established PM methods to find better guidance than this.....then adapt. Which is what PM professionals do. I see no point in a mishmash of fragmented sometimes plain wrong stuff gathered by AI.

It helps to involve multiple stakeholders across hierarchies from different internal and external teams to ensure efficient information gathering and percolation for different stages of the project.

Project success depends on aligning stakeholder interests, clarifying project purpose, start point and expected outcome. Addressing disconnects through open discussion from the start also helps align on different interests and influence in the project.

Regular stakeholder meetings with updates, data driven rational and logical alignment on decisions basis key principles and way forward is helpful to ensure everyone is on the same page on the project.

Listening and understanding their concerns, demonstrating empathy, and involving them in decision-making fosters support, especially during unexpected events. Continuously seek their feedback, give them ownership while maintaining transparency this nurture positive and trusting relationships.
