Horizontal integration in my experience is when a company grows by merging or acquiring another company that shares similar products or services. It's like when two companies in the same industry come together, such as two tech companies joining forces. This type of expansion is different from vertical integration, where a company expands by getting involved with businesses in different stages of production or distribution, like buying suppliers or distributors.
