Diversity comes mainly from two aspects, proven past experience in resolving similar issues; culture &values. When a problem is listed down and the root cause identified, past experience of the diverse team, in resolving similar issues or those can be adopted for the current problem will emerge. Openness, discussion of the merit of the solution, its adaptability and applicability are essential. Then, the shortlisted solutions need to be checked for its 'fit' in the diverse team on culture, values, beliefs etc. Most often, what drives the diverse group is also to be checked. Whether the group is driven by its diverse culture or diverse experience. Solutions will have a bearing in this too!

Hovewer we all know that some of the challeges are very complex, require long time , cooperation accross various teams and individuals and strong skills to make sure that different perspectives are gathered, reviewed and used eventually.Therefore sometimes it is good to step back, reflect, go through the checklist -if one was created and see, if what was established initially, as the problem and the goal are still valid at the end of the process.
