In this case, I like the question, but the answers don't seem to make much sense, so I will tackle the question in the context of being interviewed to be selected as the CM at Risk for a challenging construction project. The number one answer here is to be familiar with the project. We used to only go after very complicated projects. We landed these by being more familiar with the plans, specs, and project site than anyone else in the room, including the people doing the interview. It takes a great deal of prep, but it clearly shows the interviewer that you are invested in their project.
