First and foremost is accepting the responsibility as a leader and accepting it as apart of process and appreciate everyone who has contributed in the project for their efforts. After that get into the root cause and try to analyze the reason and what could have been avoided. After analyzing the failure discuss it with the project team and the stakeholder to convey the message of ownership and it also conveys a message that you are ready for a new start with a more practical and optimistic approach. Post that prepare a plan for the new approach with clear communication and strategies. Lastly, boost your team for a new start with learning from the last failure, boost their morale and heads up for a new positive approach.

1) Risk taking attitude: Once you tasted the failure, you will be the one who will be motivated to learn from your mistakes which lead to most creative ideas from your previous wrong decisions. 2)Learning Attitude: Although that project may be a failure but a huge learning library for your upcoming projects, where you can keep this as a reference to improvise your ideas. 3) Track Activities: Make sure you track all activities which you did and observe the effect on the project and how well the output is and as per the results you can divert the project into a better version and can ensure the right output.
