Autoconocimiento y Evaluación Identifica tus habilidades y fortalezas: Haz un inventario de tus habilidades, experiencias y logros. Considera tanto habilidades técnicas como habilidades blandas. Define tus objetivos profesionales: Clarifica lo que buscas en un empleo, incluyendo el tipo de trabajo, la industria, la cultura de la empresa y el desarrollo profesional que deseas. Actitud y Resiliencia Persistencia: La búsqueda de empleo puede ser un proceso largo y desafiante. Mantén una actitud positiva y no te desanimes ante los rechazos. Autocuidado: Equilibra tu tiempo de búsqueda de empleo con actividades que te mantengan saludable y motivado.

Define your non-negotiables early on. Whether it’s remote work, specific benefits, or company values, knowing what you can't compromise on helps streamline your search and keeps you focused.

Doing your “homework”/ preparing for an interview shows that you care about the company that you are considering working for and shows the kind of interest and leadership that many companies are needing today. There are many ways to do market research on a company or industry: 1. Web search to find out the latest announcements, product launches, executive viewpoints, etc. 2. Set up Google Alerts for that company or keywords for that industry. 3. Use a GenAI tool to do research but remember that AI tools like ChatGPT it similar tools can hallucinate and returns results that are in correct...make sure you always verify the results.

The tailored resume is key (in my opinion) to getting a call back or an interview. If it's not relevant to the job for which you've applied.

The old adage of “in order to win, you must apply” ring true. Linked In, Indeed are exciting good sites to use….also these days many tech firms (Google, etc.) offer referral links that must be sent by an employee which is supposed to expedite hiring /onboarding.

Preparing for the interview is critical to getting an offer. The more prepared you are, in my opinion, the more at ease you will be in the interview and that can translate to feeling more confident in the interview...AND confidence is an important part of having an executive presence.

Keep a positive mindset. Job searching can be challenging, but maintaining a positive outlook can help you stay motivated and resilient. Celebrate small victories along the way, whether it’s a callback or a second interview, to keep your spirits high.
