While KPIs can be generic for the entire team, setting ONE TO ONE GOALS and ONE TO ONE MEETS (biweekly) to check where we stand is necessary 3. Defining a leader perception curve for all the individuals of the team. It can happen that for a particular day/ particular slot, an employee is underperforming but on other days they deliver their best. So, if the employee at least shows enough slots to recover underperformance then it can be ignored and further the leader can motivate the employee for those high performance slots for new task allocation or deadlines.

A poor performer is really an issue that management normally would have to deal with however one of my biggest success stories was when I put hourly teams together and set objectives for them including rewards when accomplished objectives were met.
