When developers raise concerns about the feasibility of a design solution, it's crucial to address these issues constructively and collaboratively. And one of the ways to do this is to engage in an open dialogue with the developers to understand their specific concerns. Ask questions to know if it a technical limitation(s), resource or scalability issues. Having an open dialogue with my developers on issues like this has helped me in the past to find a common ground or suitable compromise.

Always make it a priority to carefully listen to developers' concerns and ask clarifying questions to fully grasp the technical challenges they foresee.

The designers of a solution should, at the very least, be aware of its technical viability. For this reason, designers should be familiar with the fundamentals of programming; this is not for design development, but rather to determine operational viability. Designers should stop wasting time on solutions that are difficult to implement with code and look for better options if they are aware of this. This reduces a great deal of pointless communication between developers and designers. This level of design maturity is fundamental. Subsequently, there are complex matters that require discussion between developers and designers.

By addressing developer concerns with a collaborative and open-minded approach, we should aim to foster a productive working relationship and create a solution that satisfies both design and technical requirements.
