If you don’t believe inclusivity and diversity are the best ways forward for your organization and embody that as a leader in everything that you do, then people will not believe any of the statements, platitudes, or new programs that you create or put out. Genuine enthusiasm and curiosity because you are actually interested in getting to know more about your fellow human beings is a transformative way to lead. Have a diverse team around you to bring different perspectives and ideas to the table. Encourage open dialogue and actively listen to diverse perspectives to create a sense of belonging.
