Plan the work...then work the plan. I loved this advice from my former CEO who used this phrase often to elevate what was needed to create and innovate. Creativity and innovation does not just happen. My learning and experience is that terrific ideas are dreamed of, created, developed and brought to life only through a process, a commitment to timelines and collaboration. Embracing planning is not everyone's strength but there has to be someone who can systematically bring the idea and ideators together to "plan the work and then work the plan." :)

You'll have to split your features into 2 main sections : S1 the necessary ones to deliver the expected outcome. S2 are your confetti to the cake... anything "extra" for your stakeholders. The common mistake I've seen many professionals make and have also made myself is not doing this split and try to find ways to deliver the whole package at once. My last experience to illustrate this was last year, I had an opportunity to present a tool on a Monday, and had only received the request to finalized it 2 days before. I prioritized the key features for the sake of the demo and focused in my presentation on the value prop of the tool... turned out very well and I managed to add my confettis later on to make the tool better 👊😉
