defining the objectives usually comes with the assignment or request itself, that's the easy part. Just remember, have you consulted or taken into account the needs of the group with which you are going to work on those objectives? If not, it will be important that at least, you are aware of it to be able to address possible resistance and to be able to generate spaces to investigate with the group if there are side issues or not foreseen in the initial agenda and check with the whole group that there is energy and interest to address them, in that case you will need to pull your ability to work with an emerging agenda when issues or points that were not foreseen arise.
