Career development takes on a variety of different aspects including skills, ability, experience and attitude and talent. I don’t believe anyone else can stop YOUR career growth. If someone feels like they are being hindered because of conflict they must examine their role in it. Conflict is not one sided neither is there a one size fits all solution. The problem for most is that a lack of knowledge to understand that conflict is inevitable when people work together. Conflicts exist because of the differences in beliefs and practices. However having an attitude of understanding and respect goes far in resolving conflicts in any situation. Human nature is to protect oneself but conflicts are resolved by individuals who want to work for it.
