In my experience, Delegation of tasks come in handy .But this will only work perfectly when you walk the journey with whoever you are coaching/mentoring. A mentor can also share articles / books about leadership in order to motivate and encourage the mentee more. Taking a step back to watch and allow someone make mistakes and learn from the same mistakes opens up room for mental maturity for the mentee. Regular monitoring and evaluation of tasks is a key activity for the whole process. One has to learn, unlearn and relearn.
