It amazes me how many people don't realise this is important, when your team do good things make sure they know you know and make sure your managers know, make sure the business knows. If you can, make sure there is a reward for their effort, even if its just a token chocolate bar you got with your own money. My team just did a big email move so I got them lunch, my treat to them, so they know it was appreciated. Hopefully the business will give them a bonus, but since I don't know what is happening there, I made sure they got something from me.
