What do you do if your program's tasks and resources need prioritization using logical reasoning?

It feels like the question in the title already contains an answer :) If my program's tasks and resources need prioritization, I am using logical reasoning based on the criteria defined. I would only emphasize again and again that criteria should reflect the values - normally they should be already expressed in the goals that come as an input, but it's a good momentum to cross-check that ;)

Two techniques, I use are , RICE Scoring: assign a score to each task based on four factors: Reach (number of people impacted), Impact (level of positive impact), Confidence (certainty of achieving the desired outcome), and Effort (resources required). The tasks with the highest scores receive the highest priority. Value vs. Effort Matrix: Plots tasks on a 2d matrix. The horizontal axis represents the effort required for each task, while the vertical axis represents the perceived value of the task. Tasks in the upper right quadrant (high value, low effort) are prioritized first, followed by those in the upper left (high value, high effort), then lower left (low value, low effort), and finally the lower right (low value, high effort).
