For example if we are talking about the homeless population, if they are having a community resource event or even at the food banks, it really matters and even without saying anything it builds a relationship. Like if you go to a certain store every week to get gas and you may only have said a couple words to the clerk, but you are building a relationship. so showing up is very important in any volunteering space.
