There is one time unit testing or system testing in a app development for one release, but a ML project would be iterative, many cycles of testing with different hyper parameters like epochs. c. Data cleaning may also be required umpteen times before we reach a viable model d. Success criterion, Definition of done are very different e.g. accuracy measurement, KPIs.

From my experience, involving the stakeholders in data cleaning process helped us to reduce the data to half amd remove the irrelevant data and save storage cost as well.
