From my experience, understanding that a “Career Break” doesn’t mean to stop learning or growing. Most people associate career breaks with idleness or unemployment, but that period can make all the difference in your life if planned and used wisely. A lot of people use career breaks to hone certain skills or acquire specific knowledge or qualifications, or even to experience few of the many things life has to offer away from the usual 9 to 5 rhythm. Whether travelling, self reflection, or just spending more quality time with loved ones; ultimately what really matters is the person you will become as a result of what you did in your career break and how you will utilize all what you’ve learned to transition to your next phase of life!
