I really enjoyed our conversation and I appreciate you taking the time. As someone who is always looking to grow, I'd be grateful for any feedback on how I could better position myself in the future. If you're willing to share, I'd be grateful! Either way, I'm wishing you and your team a ton of success!"

Always ask for feedback if declined. I always say how much I appreciated being part of the process and that I am continually trying to grow. I then ask if they would provide some feedback on how how I can better present my value to an organization in future engagements. Even if I don't receive the feedback, I try to introspect on what might not have gone as well and try to incorporate changes to my discussions where it makes sense. I think that alone has helped me improve my interviews over time.

I love this question, As a Recruiter and Mentor i always say, Rejection is Redirection. Now you can redirect, using the below steps: 1. Reflect Objectively: Consider the feedback without taking it personally. Identify key areas mentioned for improvement. 2. Address Weaknesses: Work on highlighted weaknesses. If it's a skill gap, consider relevant courses or practice. For interview skills, practice with mock interviews, for communication, practice talking more. 3. Update Your Approach: Adjust your interview responses to better showcase your strengths. Your approach must be tailored to the person you are talking to and company you are interviewing with. 4. Always Stay Positive: Each rejection is a step towards the right opportunity.

Giving detailed and honest feedback can be hard. You don't want to hurt someone's feelings and on top of that, you don't know how the person will react. Keep this in mind when asking for feedback. Adding a line about why you want feedback, and not making it about that opportunity can make the difference. So rather than, "I would like to get feedback to understand how I could have performed better", try, "I feel feedback is critical for my growth and I want to perform better wherever I interview next." This makes it feel less personal and clingy, and more about them helping you move on and forward. I also recommend you ask to do this on a call, rather than email. This is easier and safer for the recruiter or hiring manager.

Receiving feedback I have said can be a gift - even if not positive. We don't always get the feedback we want but we can use this feedback to better ourselves and our chances in next processes we apply for.

If one fails to crack interviews of differeng profile or industry then its better to stick to profiles where you have expertise and experience.

Most of the interviews feedbacks are not given, if you were lucky you did get, then that's the best one to overcome drawbacks. 😊 Usual format goes with 1. Introduction 2. Reference to CV 3. Profile and Why you applied to that role. While your resume talks about your role and results, your interview should talk about why you suit that role. if fresher, how you handle situations when task assigned, actions taken and the results helps. Note your experience has both success and failures. Mostly people want to put out only success stories but failures helps other party to understand, how you overcome those situations and the learnings you had around it.

Ask yourself some questions: What went well? What didn’t go well? What question or types of questions did they ask that I stumbled on or just didn’t hit the mark? Did I sell myself well? Did I listen to understand the questions and provide thoughtful answers? Did I try to bluff my way through an answer? Did I ask good questions when given the opportunity? If I wanted the position, did I ask for the job? Be an introspective job seeker who really knows your strengths AND your weaknesses. Self reflect so you can course correct.
