It is impossible to learn or grow from a rejection if you don't seek feedback; however, the flip side to this is that HR & hiring managers need to answer the request - in an honest & forthright manner. There is little that can make a job seeker doubt themselves more than going through 2 or 3 rounds of interviews only to be ghosted by the potential employer. Last month I interviewed for 30 minutes with the HR recruiter, and 90 minutes with two team leads and an AVP. The interviews went very well, or so I thought. I sent three emails & a voicemail over three weeks requesting feedback or status from the recruiter, but got no response at all. A straight up rejection w/o explanation would be more kind than just being ignored.

It's wise to seek employer feedback. While you're unlikely to get honest feedback often (for employer legal reasons), that means it's critical to listen to the honest feed back you do get, rather than ignore feedback that conflicts with your own job search views.
