I feel like this doesn't need to be said but keep your resume/CV as current as possible. Add any major wins on there. Have a "Master" copy that talks about the general duties and biggest wins of the year. When the time comes where you need to find a new career, you can use that "master" copy to start applying right away. For more niche roles, you must take the time to tailor your resume. Showcase the relevant experience needed for a specific position you are applying to. Then save those changes made as a new resume for that specific career/industry you are applying to.
