I learnt somewhere that the value proposition for any business MUST BE statable in a soundbite. What this means is that we need to find the shortest and simplest way of communicating what we do, as coaches/consultants. My personal approach to this is by focusing not on what I do/am, but rather what working with me would achieve for a client. For instance, if I were a TikTok/IG coach, instead of naming my social media handles/bios as 'Braviles Kogalo | TikTok Affiliate Coach' as I see most people do, I would say 'Braviles Kogalo | I help you sell on TikTok' or 'Braviles Kogalo | I teach earning on IG'.

The biggest mistake most consultants/coaches make is creating a hierarchical setup where they sit a level above their clients. Since they are usually more knowledgeable and experienced in the area, coaches tend think and see themselves (and subsequently act) as if they are superior to the clients. The solution - and this applies to any relationship - is to only work with people you are genuinely interested in. If you are genuinely interested in someone, then you'll take the initiative of wanting to understand them, and this smoothens the work.
