If it still doesn't make any sense, you may choose to ignore. The moment you start being defensive, kills the feedback cycle.

I hired someone from my comment section. No CV needed. WHY? Because they followed up with me relentlessly. People get lazy with outreach - you show real interest by following up. The worst thing that can happen is you get ghosted or rejected.

This is one I'm trying to get better at. Sometimes I make adjustments and just move on to the next thing. I do think it's extremely valuable to reflect, and thank the person who set you down the new path. (Also is a great chance to invite more feedback from someone who helped you already)

I made a note on every negative piece of feedback I ever got. I have it printed in front of my desk because they were all wrong and im always right

Carefully listen to each and every point they make. Don't even blink. Answer each and every point one by one taking your time. If any negative comment seem to have no answer, accept it. Tell them you will look in to that. The next day, spend revising your answers, and write them an email (if it is a possible investment in any capacity) saying how they open your eyes to think more.

If you can't hear the word no, or take constructive criticism, then you will not make it 3 seconds as an Entrepreneur. You will hear no constantly and consistently. As Mike Maples Jr says. The best Entrepreneurs are non consensus and right. The very nature of being non consensus is, nobody agrees with you. Learning when to take suggestions, and when to hold firm, is key. That's what makes this game so hard!

None of us are perfect, it doesn’t exist and to have someone actually give us any type of feedback incredibly important to our growth. Those that have given me negative feedback in the past are those in my past, it may not be true what was said but their perception is their perception, respecting if indeed it requires it, is about being mature enough to understand where it comes from (if it comes from a place of care and consideration). Those that gift negative feedback to create an atmosphere or tear people apart are the ones that we should not even be in a room with to be given the chance to offer any type of feedback.
