My journey into sustainability started with curiosity about corporate carbon emissions. From morning to night, I've focused on reducing my footprint: using reusable products, choosing sustainable foods, commuting sustainably, minimizing energy and water use, and advocating for recycling. I've embraced a paperless office, reduced food waste, and inspired others to join me. For actual tracking of my emissions I have started using a mobile application for calculating my daily, monthly and yearly emissions with the suggestions of how can I reduce it further. It's a daily commitment to making a positive impact and fostering a greener future.

There is too much greenwashing within the sustainability sector or as I like to call it Google-Sustainable as people tend to just rehash the basic facts found on a web search. True passion for the subject will be evident in the way you present your opinions rather than just the information you are conveying

While professional studies and experiences are certainly important and relevant, I believe it's also crucial to demonstrate passion and a deep understanding of sustainability. In the end, this becomes a distinguishing element.

Discussing pivotal experiences that shifted perspectives, such as witnessing the direct effects of environmental degradation or participating in successful sustainability initiatives, can illustrate deep personal motivation. These narratives demonstrate an understanding that sustainability is also a personal conviction, driving continuous efforts to learn, improve, and influence others in positive ways.

Según mi experiencia, buscar la empatía en situaciones cotidianas que nos corresponde a la gran mayoría de personas es una forma de ir introduciendo el concepto de sostenibilidad. La clave está en mostrar cómo eso que es cotidiano se puede hacer a favor del planeta sin necesidad de hacer un gran esfuerzo ni un gran cambio. Desde acciones sencillas podemos fijar buenos hábitos y un impacto positivo para el planeta. Mientras más sencillo se sienta, la otra persona se vea representada y se evidencie un cambio importante, más personas querrán sensibilizarse desde la empatía.
