Cultivating a positive and inclusive team culture as a manager involves actively promoting diversity and inclusion, encouraging open and respectful communication, and recognizing and valuing each team member's contributions. Additionally, fostering a supportive environment where feedback is welcomed, providing opportunities for professional development, and leading by example in demonstrating empathy and respect are crucial to building a cohesive and inclusive team culture.

Open dialogue plays a vital role in building positive and inclusive culture. It is a step by step process which starts with dialogue in team and then build psychological safe environment and the state of open dialogues is reached. All this is easy to implement only if the right people are teaming which needs to be taken care by quality of hiring. It is activate honest and transparent communication culture only with people of right attitude, for whom the prime motivation of work is learning and delivering to create success stories or generate learnings from failures.

A very interesting fact, to create a inclusive team we need to take care of this word's antonym i.e. "diversity". I believe that we are able to enjoy the beauty of nature only because of variety which means diversity is essential to bring beauty. Hence we should appreciate unique qualities of each colleague, work styles, and different viewpoints. Leader should nurture diversity be providing flexible environment and comfortable environment for team members.

Team culture is very important and is my favorite topic, because for me, my colleagues are second family. Being a leader one becomes a family head and the most important aspect for them is how and what culture we cultivate in team family. Just like family if colleagues stand by for each other in tough time and work as strong support system then nothing is out of reach for that team. And all this starts with positive and inclusive outlook. From my perspective the only mantra is trust, transparency, empathy, readiness to extend support and always looking at learnings from failures. We can use team charter for driving all these values in team. Though it sounds easy but is difficult to implement.
