We also have "Design Reviews" with product leadership, including developers. These meetings help resolve disagreements and align the team. However, within these compromises, they must manage to maintain control over the design. Indeed, they are the ones who master it and have the UX vision to create a good product that will be pleasant to use. Once again, communication is the key word.

There's always going to be a point in a design x dev process where you have to compromise and be flexible with each other. From the design POV, the main goal is to keep accessibility and aesthetics at the top of mind for the user's side – especially if there was a test group during the low-fi stages. But on the dev side, their main goal is to make sure that all operations function accordingly given the parameters of the design – but sometimes, things just can't be done with the limited technology that is being used. Being able to adjust certain approaches, being open to change and also being a great communicator is essential to getting over this hurdle. And lastly, PIVOT! When something's just not vibing, this could be a sign to change.
