Measure the distance of each product in the warehouse to the consolidation area and have it in a xlsx list, multiply the distance by the per picking of one day of the materials, then just change 10 of the the most often picked item and transfer it to an area closer to the consolidation area (taking also into consideration dimension, storage bulk specifications etc.), do the calculation again the lower the final number the more effective the warehouse is managed.
