When we talk about a successful team, we're talking about one that works together so well that they deliver high-quality work on time and hit their goals. The vibe of the team is so positive and supportive that members feel safe, seen, valued, and supported. They may even have fun at work, even on stressful days. Who’s on your team may change over time, or from project to project, and that’s OK. By maintaining these traits in your team, you create an environment that enables everyone to succeed together.

Additionally, the team should be efficient enough to handle different domains of projects, such as 3D modeling, 2D manufacturing drawings, additive manufacturing processes, and manufacturing expertise. When your team has different abilities in one niche, you can tackle any level of difficulty in a project because you have different minds with a variety of skill sets.

Collective responsibility is a good way to Foster collaboration. Brainstorming session is good because each individual will have an opportunity to discuss and share their personal ideas towards the success of the project. This way each member is comfortable with the roles assigned to them and better work together.

Often times people do things the way they did them "last time". This is a good place to start, but often times with changes in technology and whatnot, there may be new and better ways to handle a particular thing. Getting other ideas from the team often brings these to light and can often lead to better designs in the future as well.
