If conflict keeps escalating you haven't found root cause yet. First you must gather the whole team and understand their perspective regarding issues those might affected the situation and escalate the conflict. Then, you have to start assessing the situation. you should use different methods such as PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) and 5 Whys analysis to work with and organize the team. My last advise would be ensuring long term solutions. It is important solving the immediate situation but it is essential that would be sustainable over time.

From my experience, the exacerbation of hidden conflicts occurs at a time of pressure on the team, for example, approaching project deadlines, or increased workload of team members. It is important not only to resolve the conflict, but also not to disrupt the timing of the project, so I always use the effect of slowing down, stop, look around, make a decision and move forward again.

It is advisable to prescribe the rules of communication, they should be visible in the meeting rooms, and all team members should know and follow these rules.

To determine if something is an interest or a position, ask "Why?"—positions yield specific demands, while interests reveal broader needs.
