The way I would deal with this is "Everything happens for a reason". The job wasn't meant to be. But If the job offer was rescinded there is a reason. Understandably if your background checks come back as non compliant you can ask the hiring manager what you can do about it for future opportunities. Which in turn can give you insight onto your next steps for the next opportunity you are looking to chase. Taking time to reflect and review any feedback you have received will help for the next opportunity.
