They are still expected to follow a social norm to some extent. I accept that certain questions must be asked to ascertain the character of a person but they should be permitted to answer, to flourish in their answer. If a person feels safe to speak freely I guarantee they will feel safe to work to the best of their ability. If people feel supported and buoyed, they will want the best for those around them. They will pull them up not push them down. We must champion our differences, utilise our quirks, promote on merit and knowledge not face fits. Listen and hear.
